Packing
Do you charge for packing?
No, you will only be charged for costs of shipping.
How will the painting be packed?
I’ll do my best to get the best shipping method for you. Once I receive the order, I’ll contact you to discuss the best method.
Some smaller paintings will be wrapped in bubble wrap and packed in a cardboard casing.
Other larger paintings will be removed from the stretcher bars and packaged in a tube. You will be required at your cost to re-stretch the canvas upon arrival at a local framing company. If I can help locate one, we can discuss that as well.
Shipping
How do you ship your paintings?
Paintings are shipped using a commercial courier or Canada Post.
I live in the Vancouver area. Can I pickup my painting in person?
Yes, if the piece is available locally as I’m spending most of my time on Salt Spring Island many new creations are at the island studio.
Where do you ship from?
White Rock or Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, Canada.
Where do you ship to?
Works on paper can be shipped worldwide.
Currently, paintings on canvas can be shipped to Canada and the U.S. though if you live internationally, please contact me to discuss the possibility of shipping to you off the stretcher bars in a tube.
How much does shipping cost?
For smaller canvas paintings, nominal shipping prices are based on the size and added at time of purchase.
For larger paintings, shipping will be calculated after purchase. Rates vary depending on where you live and I do my best to choose the most economical one. I’ll reach out by email or phone to discuss this.
For works on paper, the shipping prices are:
$10 within Canada
$20 to the US
$30 outside of the US & Canada
How long will it take for my painting to arrive?
Your painting will typically be packaged within 7-10 business days after your purchase. Then, the delivery timeline is dependent upon your location. As with anything in life, sometimes things take longer than planned. If you would prefer an expedited delivery, please get in touch to make arrangements.
Payments
What forms of payment do you accept?
If you are purchasing through the website, the only payment option is through Stripe. If you would prefer to pay by e-transfer or a money wire, please get in touch to make arrangements.
Can I pay in instalments?
We do not currently offer the option to pay for paintings in instalments; all payments are required in full upfront.
Returns
What is your return policy?
All works on paper are final sale.
I want you to love the painting you choose so works on canvas can be returned within a 7-day window after delivery, if it is returned in the original packaging and a written return-request is provided by email.
Costs of shipping are non-refundable for all purchases. The cost of shipping the return will be covered by the customer.
