In nature, it’s the dappled sun through high branches. Or the places where streams and foliage entwine and flow together. In life, it’s sometimes messy and often calm. These contrasts carry you and carry the eye in a painting.
Resting spots along the way. Windswept shore. Exposed rock. Corners of crevices that hold shadows. Eagles and ravens nearby, driftwood and lots of angles to jump as you walk the path and settle into the natural beauty. My kind of life!
I adore those morning walks in the soft air with shadows and light emerging. Sounds carried from the water and leaves speaking in the breeze. Simply bliss. This painting has all that and more mixed within its layers.
Once again, in awe of the constant motion, cycling and flow within nature. There aren’t judgements and criticisms. There’s solely acceptance and growth as well as decay and messy order. Presence at it’s finest. Honoring this with this painting as I stand within the edge of wonder.
